ONE TOUGH COOKIE
A funny thing happened to me while I was desparately looking for a martini bar at Babies R Us the other day.
I ran into blogger extraordinaire Marie from Memarielane.
She literally SAVED MY LIFE, and probably the life of the store clerk, by helping me find a baby gift for a shower I was attending that day. And, as an added bonus, she helped me find a gift WITHOUT stupid animal characters on it. I was so grateful, we went for coffee and she did an interview with me for her blog.
You can read the interview here. My thanks to her for being so kind and helping out a bitch in need. Marie has taught me that a woman can still be beautiful while wearing Birkenstocks and wool socks. But VERY FEW women, mind you :)

Great interview over at Maries. I feel a kindred spirit with you....not as tough as you...but I loved your post on wearing stilettos to the family picnic. I haven't worn tennis shoes in years and proud of it.

Babies R Us is where I got my breast pump.
I use it on my Mr. Wiggly...works just as well as a penis pump without the manual labor.

I know someone who should never have been a mother. I mean this woman has all the maternal instincts of a rock. Her kids (and her ex-hubby) now pay for it. Unlike you, she really wasn't self-aware enough to know the things that you know about yourself. Be proud of yourself. Hold your chin and your 42 C's up high. You're doing the right thing.
