I just can't do it.
I can't get rid of the Bitch. She's part of me - and also has taken on a life of her own. I'm also a little afraid that if I try to change who she is at this point, she'll kick my ass. And she packs a mean punch.
So I'm not gonna. Screw the corporate spies and Bush's secret blog-tapping plots. If I get fired, what's the worst that can happen? Starvation? God knows I could stand to lose a few pounds. Dooce got fired for blogging about work, and look at her now ... sitting around in her underwear making enough money from her web site to support her family. I'd hate her, if she wasn't my hero.
Although I gotta say ... of all the suggestions for the new blog, I liked "PhoenixBitch" the best. Brilliant. Igmar, you win the prize. Send me your address and I'll mail it to you, if the drug-sniffing dogs don't get to it first.
I'm going to mitigate around the bastard spies by password protecting some entries - a suggestion that came to me after I panicked and said I would move Cookie alltogether. If you want full access to all Bitchy entries, just send me your urine sample along with an e-mail, and after you've been cleared, I'll give you the magic word. Which will probably rhyme with "midget" or "vulva" ... for no apparent reason.
